Request for financial support  [deadline for application expired]
A limited number of colleagues may receive travel support depending on the funds available to the organizers. Refundable are a maximum of 75% of the total costs documented. Prerequisite for travel support is that an abstract has been accepted by IWCSPP organizers for oral or poster demonstration, and that a full paper or extended abstract for proceedings is supplied on time. All applicants for travel support need to provide an official document from their employer stating that and why conference costs cannot be covered by the employer or other parties. Students need to document their student status by email and show original proof during registration. All candidates also need to provide a detailed cost calculation of (travel, visa and conference costs added up to) total costs and to state which support they need as a minimum to be able to participate. Candidates will be selected by a committee and a ranking will be made until funds are exhausted. Selected candidates will be informed at the latest two weeks prior to the deadline for Early-Bird payment. Selected candidates must register, complete payment as Early Bird, and will be refunded during the conference. Selected candidates need to provide originals for proof of all costs incurred, such as airfare (economy fares only), visa costs, and accommodation (senior scientists max. 80,- EUR/night, students max. 40,-EUR/night, max. 5 nights) upon registration. Candidates will provide a banking connection and receive a lump sum at the conference venue. If necessary for administrative reasons, a balance of the refund may be transferred to their banking connection within four weeks after the end of the conference.

Registration and Confirmation
Registration is subject to capacity limitations. Your registration is completed after you paid the required amount of the conference fee. Only some 500 participants can be accepted, and late registrants will only be accepted to the limit given by the conference venue. Please note that your registration needs to be confirmed by the organizers via email before it becomes valid.

Payment policy
The conference fees must be paid in advance. Please keep key dates in mind for Early-Bird and Regular Participation.

Payment deadline: Your registration will not be processed until payment is received in full and according to deadline. In addition, if you are presenter of an accepted contribution (oral and/or poster), you will not be scheduled in the conference program if your payment is not received before May 31, 2018.

Payment options: Payment can be made by bank transfer only. All payments are in EURO. The bank account details will be listed in your registration confirmation email and are given also here above. You may also contact iwcspp2018@julius-kuehn.de for details.
For any bank transfer made from outside the Euro zone, please be aware of bank service charges. All bank charges for remittances are to be borne by the participant. Failure to pay this fee will result in an incomplete registration.

Cancellations, Changes, Refunds
Cancellations can be made in written form only. Refunds will only be made if the cancellation is received by 1 August 2018. A cancellation fee of 50 EUR will apply. Any cancellations after this date or no-shows at the event are not eligible for a refund and the full fee in accordance to the registration invoice or confirmation will be due. Any changes in booking, after booking confirmation has been issued, will result in a handling fee of 15 EUR. Any requested additions to existing reservations or reservations made during the event on-site will be processed according to availability.

Event Cancellation, Refunds
There is limited capacity for all events. For certain events a minimum number of participants is required. If the minimum number of participants is not reached, we reserve the right to cancel all or parts of the event on short-term notice. In this case, paid fees will be fully refunded.
